How much Stayputt will I need?

How long will Stayputt take to cure?

Stayputt will start to cure after 12 hours depending on the ambient temperature and will continue to cure over 28 days.

 

How long before I can walk or drive on it?

Stayputt Narrow Joint can be walked on immediately. Allow 48 hours (depending on ambient temperature) for Stayputt Wide Joint compound.

 

Can I apply Stayputt when weather is damp?

No. Stayputt will ball up and be difficult to broom into the joints.
It must be dry.

 

What if I need to top-up the joints once Stayputt has been applied?

Repeat the application proceedure ASAP

 

If I want to replace my kiln dried sand with Stayputt, what should I do?

Carefully powerwash out the dirt and old sand to a depth of 25mm, then follow the application procedure of Stayputt.

 

Immediately after application, how would I get any excess product off the paving?

Rewet the surface where Stayputt has adhered to paving and scrub lightly with a semi stiff bristle broom, then wash off using the spray attachment on a hose pipe.

 

Which type of Stayputt should I use?

For any landscaping laid on a sharp sand screed with a joint width between 2mm to 6mm, use Stayputt Flexible Narrow Joint Filler.

For slabs, natural stone & the like with a joint width of 6mm to 25mm and laid on a full bed of mortar or concrete only use Stayputt Wide Jointing Filler
